Wiedemann will play music by artists from his own label, Bigamo, at Fondation Beyeler on July 8th.
Going down in elegant surroundings—inside Fondation Beyeler, an art museum just outside Basel—the one-hour performance will take in released and unreleased tracks by artists from Wiedemann's label, Bigamo, plus material from an upcoming Âme album. The room where the Innervisions boss is scheduled to play is currently hosting a Wolfgang Tillmans exhibition. (There will be no audience present during the stream.)
We'll broadcast the performance, which runs from 9 PM through 10 PM local time, on RA Live. The event is part of Nordstern and Fondation Beyeler's sun.set series, which has hosted DJs like Damian Lazarus, Solomun and Martin Buttrich since launching last year. Though the broadcast won't be open to the public, Âme will be performing later that same night at Nordstern.
Fondation Beyeler opened in 1997 and houses works by the likes of Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne and Pablo Picasso.
