- The singer's long-awaited full-length is out on Warp Records in October.
Kelela's debut album, Take Me Apart will come out on Warp Records in October.
Though this is her first full-length, Kelela Mizanekristos has already made a name for herself with a futuristic take on R&B. Her first mixtape, Cut 4 Me, featured producers from the Fade To Mind and Night Slugs crews, while her RA Recommended Hallucinogen EP led to collaborations with Solange, Gorillaz and Danny Brown (as well as opening slots on an arena tour with The xx).
Zane Lowe premiered a track off the new LP, "LMK"—"in which "Kelela flips the heteronormative construct that women want to settle down," he says—on his Beats 1 show last night.
