Haiku From Zero is the follow-up to the Aussie group's 2013 LP, Free Your Mind, and their first for New York label Astralwerks. They've shared a new track from the album, "Standing In The Middle Of The Field," the second from Haiku From Zero after last month's lead single, "Airborne." "Standing" is available as a 7-inch with a bonus track on the B-side.
"So much of this album is about this mosaic of information, images that we're surrounded by on a day-to-day basis," frontman Dan Whitford said in a statement. "Sometimes it feels like overload, but there's a weird random beauty in it. The idea of squeezing poetry from chaos was where the title of the album came from—the idea of finding something poetic in the overload."
