Ziúr is releasing her debut album on Planet Mu and Objects Limited.
The experimental club music on U Feel Anything is informed, the Berlin-based artist suggests, by stylistic and emotional contrasts. "I believe you can only tell that something is harsh when you have a soft side to compare it to," she says. "If everything is amazing then nothing is, right?" Ziúr, who runs the Berlin-based club night Boo Hoo, released her first two EPs—Deeform and Taiga, her only records to date—last year. The 12-track LP has two guests—the vocalist Zhala, and Aïsha Devi, an artist Resident Advisor's Holly Dicker wrote a profile on earlier this year. U Feel Anything is out in October.
