  • A new Ike Yard EP called Sacred Machine is coming out on the Vienna label Noiztank. Sacred Machine will be the first new release from the New York dark wave and experimental trio—made up of Stuart Argabright, Kenneth Compton and Michael Diekmann—in seven years. A five-track record due out in October, it features collaborations with Erica Belle and Tropic Of Cancer, AKA Camella Lobo, who remixed an Ike Yard track back in 2013. The EP includes a couple nods to the band's early days, when Fred Szymanski was a member. "Night Klub" is said to revisit the title track from their 1981 EP Night After Night, while "Slaves Of Janet" contains unused lyrics dating back to the group's 1982 self-titled album. In March, Noiztank released The Future Of The Sun, a collaborative EP by Argabright (AKA Black Rain) and Orphan Swords' Yannick Franck and Pierre de Mûelenaere. Listen to "Night Klub."
