  • Melbourne's Left Ear Records will release Subterranean (1989-1995), a collection of tracks from St Louis duo Workdub, in October. The retrospective sees the label digging up ten tracks from the act's private press 1989 debut album and subsequent full-length cassettes in 1992 and 1995. The music created by the American producers—real names Nicholas Georgieff and Virgil Work—was featured on a Music From Memory EP last year, giving their dubbed out electronic sounds their first official label release. RA's Matt McDermott likened their early sounds to Ibiza's Balearic style of the same era, saying their music "turns a post-Industrial city on the Mississippi into a Mediterranean island paradise."
