- The Norwegian mainstay will release his next solo LP in November.
Prins Thomas's next album, Prins Thomas 5, will inaugurate his new Prins Thomas Musikk label in November.
The press release says the Norwegian's latest full-length, which was inspired by Teenage Fanclub, a bout with Bronchitis, Plaid, American jazz guitarist Pet Metheny and homesickness on the road, "takes two steps forward and one step back." Its 11 tracks were written after 2016's "more conceptual" Principe Del Norte LP and around the same time as Square One, his recent collaborative album with Bjørn Torske. Prins Thomas Musikk is his second label, following Full Pupp, which launched in 2005.
