Cassy is starting a new label called Kwench Records.
Each release will be a collaborative endeavour featuring at least two artists working together, plus a remix. "[The artists] must not be afraid to experiment, nor do what comes naturally to them," the label says. "And above all, trust in themselves and their instincts."
Kwench will kick off in November with an EP featuring Cassy and Toronto's Demuir, an artist who Cassy has been supporting in her DJ sets recently. For this one, the remixes will be released as a separate package later in the year.
