- The 34-track score is out next week ahead of the hit show's return to Netflix.
Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, of the Austin synth band S U R V I V E, have returned to compose the soundtrack for the second season of Netflix's acclaimed series Stranger Things.
After soundtracking the science fiction show's first season—and seeing the theme song they wrote win a Creative Arts Emmy—Dixon and Stein announced that their music for the second season will get a digital release next Friday through Lakeshore Records and Invada. Vinyl, CD and cassette versions of the score are also on the way, with a release date still TBA. The show itself returns to Netflix on October 27th.
