Tallinn club Lekker has been "forced to move" from its current venue nearly two years after opening.
The team behind the city centre basement, which hosted its last event in May, announced the news earlier today via Facebook, though they didn't specify a reason for the decision. They did, however, reassure fans that they've "been on the lookout for a new space for quite some time now" and will return "when the conditions are right."
Since launching in December 2015, Lekker has been one of Estonia's best spots for leftfield club sounds, with Legowelt, PLO Man and Anthony Naples among recent guests. Read the club's full statement and watch a clip of Samo DJ playing in 2016.
"Well… we've been quiet for a while now and the reason behind this is that we are forced to move from our current location and we've been on the look-out for a new space quite some time now. We don't want to rush things, but rather learn and develop from the experiences we've gained so far and put them into good use when the conditions are right. It's hard to pinpoint out a specific date or time when and where Lekker will flourish again but we promise you that this phoenix shall rise from the ashes stronger than ever.
