  • Frankfurt house label Needs Music will return to record shops in November following an 11-year hiatus. The outlet, started by Yannick Elverfeld and brothers Marek and Lars Bartkuhn in 1999, put out its last record in 2006. It's back with a new reissue series called Gold Edition, which will repackage old releases with new and updated versions of classic tracks. The first outing is a two-tracker by Needs, AKA Marek and Lars, called Walkin' Thru Circles, which originally came out in 2001. Alongside the newly mastered "Thump Mix" is the "Full Expansion," a new and reimagined interpretation featuring live instrumentation, percussion and vocals performed by Lars. The EP will be available on vinyl only. Listen to "Walkin' Thru Circles (Thump Mix)."
