- Tessela and Truss's next release lands on XL Recordings on November 24th.
Overmono will conclude their Arla EP trilogy on XL Recordings with Arla III.
Arla III sees Overmono, AKA the brothers Tessela and Truss, deliver four melodic tracks inspired by their memories of the UK rave scene. "Inulin," the EP's lead track, is out now, along with a video from Weirdcore, the audiovisual artist who crafted the imagery for Aphex Twin’s recent Field Day set. Arla III follows Arla, released in 2016, and Arla II, released earlier this year.
"Arla III, like the previous two records in the series, is a culmination of our combined influences," the pair say. "A representation of our memories—both real and false—of UK rave culture. These records have been informed as much by fantasy as they are real memories. The result of us piecing together our experiences of growing up and going out to raves in the Welsh countryside."
