A new updated version is coming out in February 2018.
The software, which integrates Elektron's hardware with your computer, used to be divided into Basic and Premium categories. It's now known simply as Overbridge and is free for owners of compatible devices like the Digitakt, Analog Heat and the new MKII range.
Elektron also announced that a new version of Overbridge is currently being developed and will be rolled out in February 2018. New features include a standalone editor for working without a DAW, a reworked user interface, enhanced plug-in compatibility in various DAWs and what Elektron calls "a new multi-process architecture." Owners of newer Elektron machines, such as the Analog MKII range and the Digitakt, can expect lower latency and quicker recall and automation while all channels can be streamed simultaneously at maximum quality without the need for configuration.
