  • The Avenue 66 label will return with a new album from Trux in February. Trux is a relatively unknown producer who first appeared on German label Office last year. The label describes Orbiter as an album of "liminal, conceptual dance music" with a "vaporous, shape-shifting quality threatening to topple over into full-on kick drum bliss or vanish into ambience." The LP features ten relatively brief tracks from Trux. Avenue 66 is a Los Angeles-based label run by Oliver Bristow, the man behind Absurd Recordings and the Acid Test releases. Previously, Avenue 66 has put out records from Joey Anderson and Lowtec. Listen to "Orbiter."
