The Jeff Mills score for And Then There Was Light will be released on January 26th.
And Then There Was Light is the latest film-oriented project from the Detroit techno artist, following several re-scores for classic movies like Metropolis and Woman In The Moon. This one is the soundtrack to a 2017 Japanese film of the same name, directed by Tatsushi Omori, which centres on a teenager who kills his girlfriend's other lover while mistaking their affair for sexual assault. Parts of the score came out digitally earlier this year, but the upcoming CD on Axis Records contains more music, with 15 tracks in all.
