  • New York techno producer Gunnar Haslam is starting a label called Kavalanic Languages, which will be active for this year only. The outlet, which will close at the end of 2018, will be a vinyl and pay-what-you-want digital label through which Haslam plans to put out five records he's produced using different aliases. Cover photography for each release will come courtesy of his partner Maya Rossignac-Milon. The first release, a four-tracker simply titled KL01, is due out in late January. Haslam has previously appeared on labels like The Bunker New York (home to his most recent album, 2017's Kalaatsakia), L.I.E.S. and Delsin. Listen to KL01 cut "Atayalic."
