  • Brussels venue Recyclart will close its doors at the end of the month. Functioning as a train station by day and a multidisciplinary art and community space by night, Recyclart has been in operation in the Belgian capital for 20 years. It is now being forced to leave the Brussels-Chapel station on February 28th, as negotiations between the city and Belgian railway operators over the future of the space continue. A statement on the Recyclart Facebook page says they will "go somewhere else for an indefinite period." The closing party takes place on February 16th with an all-night set from DJ Sotofett. Since 1997, Recyclart has functioned as an art space as well as a training centre for carpentry and catering. It also throws parties, exhibitions and talks, and hosts artist residencies.
