  • Keita Sano's next album will come out in two parts. Let's Play House, the New York City-based label that released the Japanese producer's mini-LP EYE two years ago, will put out the first half of the record in April. The second half will come a few weeks later, followed by a full album package (in digital and limited vinyl formats) in late May. Let's Play House says, "Kubo (?), which translates to 'concave,' and Totsu (?), which translates to 'convex,' come together to form Ototsu... the convex and concave coming together to create a complete circle." The artwork reflects this complementary yet opposing relationship—one cover uses the Japanese flag and the other its inverse image. Sano has been prolific since coming on the scene four years ago. He's released albums and EPs at a steady clip for labels like Mister Saturday Night, Crue-L Records and 1080p, among others. Listen to "Hmmm."
