We're once again hosting an outdoor space at the summertime Helsinki event, with Helena Hauff, Egyptian Lover and Moodymann also confirmed.
It's our fourth year hosting a stage at Flow, which in 2018 runs from Friday the 10th through Sunday the 12th, and 18 artists are on the program. On Friday, we have Perlon cofounder Zip and two of his longtime label friends, Sammy Dee and Sonja Moonear, taking to the decks, along with eclectic Amsterdam DJ Young Marco and the fast-rising Peggy Gou, who mixed an RA podcast in January. Finnish electro duo Imatran Voima rounds out the day's lineup with a live set.
Saturday at the Front Yard sees Helena Hauff bringing her hard-charging acid and electro selections, while Minimal Wave boss Veronica Vasicka is sure to offer up deep, obscure cuts of minimal synth, EBM and techno. Pioneering Los Angeles-based beatsmith Egyptian Lover and Motor City duo Detroit In Effect are also confirmed, as are Phuong Dan, a resident at Hamburg hotspot Golden Pudel, and Istanbul's Zozo.
To finish things off on Sunday, we're hosting one of Detroit's favorite sons, the enigmatic Moodymann, and the much-loved Running Back head Gerd Janson. Bucharest pair Khidja, London radio host Moxie, Oliver Ho (under his industrial and EBM-focused alias Broken English Club) and Yaeji, who we recently highlighted in our Breaking Through feature series, complete the closing day's lineup.
Flow festival's 2018 lineup also features Fever Ray, Bonobo, Kendrick Lamar and St. Vincent. Check out our five key performances review of the 2017 event, along with our 360-degree Inside film from 2016.
