NON has announced a new three-part compilation to be released over the next few weeks.
NON Worldwide Compilation II Trilogy was announced today with a stream of "Ban Man" by US-based artist Gita. In a complex press release, the label explains the compilation's genetic theme, saying, "NON conducted a genome-wide association study in 42 NON citizens. Our result: 42 tracks, three albums." The text goes on to outline a supposed genetic commonality between all 42 NON artists.
Only the first album's tracklist has been revealed so far. It'll feature Hyperdub artist Klein, Sporting Life, Embaci and Bonaventure, along with several producers who are appearing on NON for the first time.
NON was founded as a collective and record label for African and African diasporic artists around the world, headed up by Richmond, Virginia's Chino Amobi, South African producer ANGEL-HO and London's Nkisi. This new series is a sequel to one of NON's earliest releases, the NON Worldwide Compilation Volume 1, which came out back in 2015.

NON Worldwide will release NON Worldwide Compilation II Trilogy: Album 1 on March 16th, 2018.
