  • Brian Eno will release Music For Installations via UMC in May. Spanning 1986 to the present, the nine-LP box set collects the music that Eno created as accompaniment to his art and video installations. It'll be the first time any of it has been pressed to vinyl, with the recordings a mix of hard-to-find tracks (many of which were previously only available in-person), as well as new and previously unreleased material. The box set also includes a 64-page book featuring rare and unseen exhibition photographs, and a new essay written by Eno. The original installations were exhibited at iconic cultural institutions like the Venice Biennale, the Marble Palace in St. Petersburg and the Sydney Opera House. Listen to "Needle Click," from Making Space, which was originally issued as a limited-run CD in 2010.
