The new venue opens next week for three months only.
Singapore promoter The Council is launching a new pop-up venue called Tuff Club in the city-state starting next Thursday, April 5th.
The new venue, which will open for three months only, is located on Robertson Road, about a 15-minute walk from The Council's permanent venue, Headquarters, on Boat Quay. They describe Tuff Club as a "pop-up playground for jaded clubbers and music lovers." They've locked in dates with international headliners like Lauer, Frankey & Sandrino and Hans Berg, and will also showcase Singaporean talent like the Midnight Shift crew and EJ Missy.
The first event, called Dancing Is Exercising, on April 5th, will feature Ulysses, Yadin Moha and saxophonist Kaye, followed by Modern Love, a party with Adrian Wee and Cats On Crack the next evening. Saturday, April 7th will bring the Tropic Lab collective to Tuff Club—namely, HAAN A. and Jamie React.
