Gang Gang Dance are back with their first album since 2011, Kazuashita, for 4AD.
The experimental pop band, fronted by singer Lizzi Bougatsos, has been on hiatus since they released Eye Contact seven years ago. They recorded Kazuashita in a few different New York studios and art spaces, with Bougatsos and founding members Brian DeGraw and Josh Diamond alongside guest drummer Ryan Sawyer and producer Jorge Elbrecht. 4AD describes the album as "an intoxicating mix of shoegaze and electronic ambience."
They'll celebrate the June 22nd release with a show at Brooklyn venue Elsewhere on the same date, ahead of a full tour later in the year.
