  • DJ Sprinkles, AKA Terre Thaemlitz, is back with a new vinyl EP. Deproduction EP 1 is the deep house producer's first solo vinyl release in more than five years. Out through Thaemlitz's own Comatonse Recordings, the record presents two versions of "Names Have Been Changed," a 43-minute production that appeared on her Deproduction album from last December. The A-side, the "Vinyl Edit," cuts the original down to 17 minutes, while the B-side presents the DJ-friendly "Sprinkles' House Arrest" version, which until now was only available digitally. Listen to samples of the new tracks at Boomkat. For more on Thaemlitz's approach to music, revisit her RA Exchange.
