Oman police have ruled out "criminal suspicion" in Avicii's death.
The Swedish DJ and producer, real name Tim Bergling, was found dead in Muscat, Oman on the afternoon of Friday, April 20th.
"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his representatives said. "The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."
On Monday, April 23rd, Oman police confirmed that there is no evidence of foul play in Avicii's death.
"Two postmortems were carried out," Royal Oman Police said, according to CNN. "We can confirm that there is no criminal suspicion in the death."
Bergling retired from touring in 2016 because of health problems, including acute pancreatitis.
