- Hosono House, Paraiso, Cochin Moon, Philharmony & Omni Sight Seeing will get their first release outside of Japan.
Five Haruomi Hosono albums will get their first release outside of Japan this August and September on Light In The Attic.
The legendary Japanese musician started off in the psychedelic rock bands Apryl Fool and Happy End, after which he released his solo debut, Hosono House. "Hosono's solo career would take many twists and turns from this point forward," Light In The Attic says, "with forays into exotica, electronic, ambient and techno, culminating in the massive success of techno pop group Yellow Magic Orchestra, who made their debut in 1978."
The five reissues come from throughout Hosono's career, with Hosono House, 1978's Paraiso & Cochin Moon, 1982's Philharmony and 1989's Omni Sight Seeing all set for re-release. Each reissue was mastered from the original analog master tapes and comes with a promo poster and an interview with Hosono.
