The current heatwave in and around Berlin left the team with no choice but to cancel next weekend's event.
In a statement posted to Facebook yesterday, the German festival, which takes place near Berlin, said they received an email from the local authorities "informing us that the state of Brandenburg currently has reached highest level of forest fire warnings, due to the ongoing heatwave in the next week."
HER DAMIT's fourth edition was scheduled for June 8th through 10th, with Bambounou, Shed and Eris Drew among the acts. According to the statement, the team is considering new dates for the festival in 2018, possibly at the end of August or the beginning of September. Officially, that is still TBA. Should the event eventually take place, all tickets will remain valid. A more recent Facebook post adds, "There will also be more detailed information about the refund options for anyone who can't come to the new date."
