Established drum & bass record label Cargo Industries has birthed a new imprint called Payload Recordings. Cargo is run by long time veteran DJ/producer Stakka (Shaun Morris), who's musical career spans over a decade and has seen, first hand, the dance scene evolve from its early days. The new Payload imprint will cater for established and upcoming artists, while Cargo will be Stakka's outlet of solo productions and collaborations.
The first release on Payload will be from San Francisco DJ/producer Gridlok with 'V_Ger' and 'Crooked'. Other tracks to be released are Stakka & UFO!'s 'Set Trippin' and 'Wastelands' from Noisia featuring Prolix & Milo. Cargo is set to release two EP's at the end of the year. The first is The Militias 'Weight Gain EP' with the highly anticipated 'Heavy Load EP' from Stakka.
