- Ecce Homo is out in September.
London experimental label Touch is putting out a new album from Ipek Gorgun in September.
Ecce Homo is the second solo full-length for Gorgun, a Turkish electro-acoustic composer and sound artist currently enrolled in a doctoral program for Sonic Arts at Istanbul Technical University. It explores "the lighter and darker shades of the human psyche and humanity's ability to create beauty and destruction," Touch says, using "a variety of microparticles, exuberant textures, ambient and noisy landscapes."
Gorgun self-released her first album, Aphelion, in 2016, which Touch picked up for a digital release later that year. Last year she collaborated with Ceramic TL (AKA Egyptrixx) on an album for Halocline Trance called Perfect Lung.
