- The UK producer's second LP, which includes a track featuring Jamie Lidell, lands late next month.
A new Marquis Hawkes album is on the way via Houndstooth.
The Marquis Of Hawkes is the second full-length from Mark Hawkins' most prominent alias, and it marks a return to Houndstooth, home to the UK house producer's 2016 debut album Social Housing and a few other 12-inches.
We got a first taste of The Marquis Of Hawkes last month with "Don't U," featuring vocals from Ursula Rucker—one of two guest singers on the eight-track record. Jamie Lidell joins on "We Should Be Free," which will get its own release alongside three Marquis Hawkes remixes.
Hawkins produces under a few other names, and his techno-leaning Juxta Position project appeared just last month with the Elixir EP on Len Faki's Figure imprint.
Listen to "We Should Be Free" before The Marquis Of Hawkes sees release in late August.
