Jlin to release score for Wayne McGregor collaboration, Autobiography

- The US producer's soundtrack to the choreographer's latest work is coming out this autumn on Planet Mu.
- Jlin's score for her collaboration with UK choreographer Wayne McGregor is being released by Planet Mu this September. Autobiography accompanies McGregor's latest piece of the same name, which first premiered in October 2017. Jlin often performs the score live and will continue touring with Company Wayne McGregor, appearing next at London's Sadler's Wells on July 26th, with dates booked through February 2019. Unsound, which first brought the two artists together, will also host a performance in October. Jlin says creating the score "changed my life as an artist." On working with McGregor, she added: "Before I even started composing for Autobiography, Wayne told me so gently that he trusts me completely with my direction of creating the score. That was the best feeling in the world." Although this will not be considered her third album, it is her first full-length since 2017's Black Origami.
