"It's an egotistical album," the Canadian producer says of her fourth full-length, "and I'm okay with that."
Working Class Woman is the fourth solo LP for Davidson, and her first to see release through Ninja Tune. It's described as the Canadian producer's "most self-reflective record," one with a "more darkly humourous edge than before." Davidson herself says, "It's an egotistical album—and I'm okay with that."
The album's first single, "So Right," will come with a John Talabot remix.
Davidson's last solo album was 2016's Adieux Au Dancefloor for Minimal Wave offshoot Cititrax. Back in the spring, she released a new album on DFA with her husband Pierre Guerineau as part of their Essaie Pas project.
