  • Swedish experimental producer Klara Lewis is returning to Editions Mego later this month to release a collaborative album alongside Simon Fisher Turner. Care pairs the 25-year-old Lewis with Turner, the prolific musician, songwriter and Mute affiliate whose career stretches back more than four decades. (He connected with Editions Mego last year to put out a solo album called Giraffe.) They crafted a set of four tracks, ranging in length from eight to 14 minutes apiece, which Editions Mego says takes in a "wide scope of references and constant pull of forces" as it focuses on a "unique form of location/disorientation." Lewis provided photography for the record, while Factory Floor's Nik Colk Void (who's played live with Lewis) handled its design. Lewis has put out two solo LPs through Editions Mego, 2014's Ett and 2016's Too, and a 2014 EP for Peder Mannerfelt's label. Earlier this year she performed alongside former Pan Sonic member Ilpo Väisänen in Helsinki, and she recently played both Berlin Atonal and MUTEK in Montreal—the latter gig was one of Resident Advisor's key performances at the festival.
