The Japanese arm of the experimental electronic festival kicks off November 1st.
The first round of artists booked for MUTEK.JP has been announced.
MUTEK.JP's third edition has locked in a rare performance from Jeff Mills and Mike Banks, who will play together as X-102 for the first time in a decade. Taking place in Tokyo's Miraikan museum from November 1st to 4th, the bill also features French songwriter Colleen, female:pressure founder Electric Indigo and audio-visual collaborations between Ben Frost and MFO, and Paul Jebanasam with Tarik Barri. Local bookings include the likes of Kyoka, Sapphire Slows, Sugai Ken and Masayoshi Fujita, but expect the lineup to expand with further announcements in the coming weeks.
