  • Resident Advisor is again teaming up with De School for a charity four-a-side football tournament at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event. The third edition of The RA Cup will take place on Thursday, October 18th, with 16 teams competing for the much-coveted trophy. A number of favourites will be returning, including RA, De School, Dekmantel, Clone, PIP Den Haag, Orchid, Red Light Radio, Zwart Goud, The Rest Is Noise, Atonal and last year's champions, Rush Hour. They'll be joined by several new teams, including Dutch club Garage Noord, Tbilisi's Bassiani, UK house and techno label Hypercolour, world-renowned promoters Elrow and an all-star team featuring DJs, agents and other industry figures. As always, it's all for a good cause. All the money raised will go to Mama Cash, the oldest international women's fund in the world. Established in the Netherlands in 1983, it gives grants to more than 130 forward-thinking initiatives led by women, adolescent girls, trans and intersex people fighting for their rights. Members of the public are invited to watch the drama unfold on the day, with entry set at a €5 donation per person. Watch the action pitch-side or from De School's cafe, where the matches will be streamed live while you grab a bite, sink beers or conduct ADE meetings. To donate to Mama Cash, click here. All amounts, however small, are welcome. Here are some photos from last year's event.
