- Gerald Donald and To-Nhan will release five new tracks in October.
Dopplereffekt will return with a new EP, Athanatos, at the end of this month via Leisure System.
As usual, the EP has a science-related conceptual element, exploring "genetic conditions and chromosomal influences defining mortality," according to the label. It's their fourth release for Leisure System and their first since last year's album, Celular Automota, which was their first full-length in a decade.
Carsten Nicolai, AKA Alva Noto, and Olaf Bender, AKA Bytone, from the German techno label Raster-Noton, are credited on the release alongside the duo's Gerald Donald and To-Nhan. (Donald appears here as Rudolf Klorzeiger, one of his many aliases.)
