  • Norman Nodge is releasing his first new solo record since 2011 in November via Ostgut Ton. The Berghain resident's new EP, Embodiment, features four new techno tracks that "reflect on decades of observing how dancers develop an intuitive relationship to music and process new sounds," according to the press release. Nodge has been a DJ and promoter since the '90s, and became a resident at Berghain in 2005, developing a sound that Ostgut Ton describes as "forceful, dubby and hypnotic." He was behind the Berghain 06 mix CD in 2012, and his last solo release, The Happenstance, came out in 2011, also via Ostgut Ton. Listen to clips from Embodiment.
