Robert Hood will preach and play at St. Thomas Kirche on November 9th.
The founding member of UR (and minimal techno pioneer) is also an ordained minister. His Floorplan project hews close to religious themes and he has equated DJing and preaching in the past, telling Rolling Stone, "When I'm behind the turntables, I'm at a pulpit. I'm preaching a message of love—it's just coming through electrical wires and Funktion-One speakers."
At St. Thomas Kirche, he'll preach and DJ before a set at Tresor later that night, Electronic Beats reports.
Hood's Berlin appearances come a week ahead of the release of his DJ-Kicks mix.
