Demdike Stare are back with a new double EP called Passion.

Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker have been working on the record since their 2016 album Wonderland, according to the press release. It's described as an "asymmetric reimagining of UK club styles taking in frenzied drum trax, shortwave jungle, pinging dance hall and clipped, post-punk riddims." (The press release also says that Passion is Demdike Stare's "most direct and fucked-up record to date.")

The cover artwork is taken from the duo's live shows with visual artist Michael England. Passion comes via Modern Love.

Demdike Stare have also kept busy with their own label, DDS, releasing records and mixes from Shinichi Atobe, Iueke, Move D's Conjoint band and others this year.
