  • MIDIPLUS, a tech company based out of Taiwan, has revealed a new MIDI audio interface that is "specially designed for females." Announced in October, the Mirror resembles a makeup palette, with a mirror that pops open, surrounded by an LED light, and six colourful knobs that look like eye-shadow pans. It has a handful of ports labelled with small symbols to indicate USB, microphone, two headphone, guitar and phone jacks. There are few technical specifics in the product description, however it takes pains to describe how the "perfect" 105-degree angle of the mirror considers "females' ergonomics" and that the exterior is "black diamond"-like with a "polished glossy cover and frosted metal body." It also invites you to "twirl the colorful eye shadow-shaped knobs." MIDIPLUS' other audio interface offerings look like standard studio equipment and have detailed product descriptions.
