The production will premiere at The Shed in New York in spring 2019.
The Icelandic artist will premiere Cornucopia at new New York multi-arts center The Shed, which is expected to open around the same time. (Show dates and tickets information are still TBA.) Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany will helm the project, while Chloe Lamford and Tobias Gremmler will handle stage and digital design. Seven-piece Icelandic flute ensemble Viibra will rejoin Björk onstage following previous collaborations this summer, as well as a harpist, percussionist and Bergur Þórisson on electronics.
Read our reviews of Björk's summer performances, including a headline set at The Eden Project and May's Primavera Sound and All Points East festivals, which appear to serve as a preview for Cornucopia.
