  • Details of a new James Blake album are starting to trickle out. A listing for a new album titled Assume Form appeared this week and was picked up by Reddit users. As Stereogum reports, the LP is said to comprise 12 new tracks, including collaborations with rappers Andre 3000, Travis Scott and SwaVay, electronic flamenco artist Rosalía, hip-hop producer Metro Boomin and more, many of whom Blake has worked with or toured with in the past. The Amazon listing has since been taken down. Update: A website for the album popped up on Friday, featuring a clip of a track which The Fader reports comes up on Shazam as "Lullaby For My Insomniac"—the last song on the leaked Amazon tracklist. The album's title and a photo of Blake were also projected on a train station in Shoreditch.
The UK artist recently announced a North American tour starting in February, which would coincide with the album's purported release date. Resident Advisor has reached out to Blake's label Republic Records for comment. Blake's most recent album, The Colour In Anything, was released in 2016. Listen to his most recent single, "Don't Miss It."
