- The eight-track full-length is the elusive artist's first not on their own label.
Pom Pom will release their latest LP, Untitled II, on A-TON.
The eight-track full-length, which comes out a week today, has no track titles, as with the majority of the artist's previous releases. (Most Pom Pom records are either untitled or assigned catalogue numbers.) Last April, Pom Pom released an EP for Ostgut Ton, their first for the label.
Untitled II will be Pom Pom's first album not released on the artist's label of the same name, on which they've released records since the early '00s. In that initial period, their thumping yet colourful techno sound featured samples from artists such as Arthur Russell, Fad Gadget and Tiga. A-TON, who in the past 18 months have released compilations by Function and The 7th Plain, says the album will show "another side of Pom Pom."
