  • The long running breakbeat night, Out of Order, at the Lounge in Melbourne is turning two years old in December. To celebrate they've invited DJ Hyper (UK) to come and party alongside the residents Ben Shepherd, Nick Thayer, Jez Roc and Flagrant. Over the past two years Out of Order has seen some of the best in the business grace their decks, such Soul Of Man, Atomic Hooligan, Tayo, Friendly, Paul Arnold, Jesper Dahlbeck, 10 Sui, Laidback, Young Einstein (Ugly Duckling), Danny McMillan, Class of 83, Jessica Joy, Hyper, International Karate, Kid Kenobi, and Nubreed. This time around DJ Hyper hits the Lounge console for a set of the freshest breakbeat cuts and the Kilowatt flavour that's seen him work with everyone from Digweed to Dylan Rhymes and even pop starlet Pink. On The Books for 2004 is even more talent at OoO with Soul of Man, John Stapleton (Dope on Plastic), Stereo 8 (Fingerlickin' Records), The Nextmen (UK hip hop biz) and more. The Birthday party action takes place on Friday 26 December, when you need to dance off that Christmas dinner! It's a 10pm start and entry is $15 on the door.
