  • Next up on Hyperdub is a full-length by Daniele Mana, AKA Mana. Arriving about six months after his first EP for Steve Goodman's label, Seven Steps Behind is "an electronic album that doesn't always sound electronic," Hyperdub says. "A great deal of the record has been created to sound like prepared pianos, harpsichords, cellos and flutes." It's a departure from his "beatless, almost neo-classical electronics," the label continues. "Since then we find his music has caught an alien virus and started hallucinating." He released a video for "Solo" that's inspired by the '70s Italian animated series La Linea, and by his upbringing in Turin.
