The first Sónar Athens is coming.
The international festival for electronic music and digital arts lands in Greece on October 11th and 12th later this year.
In the words of the promoter: "Sónar Athens represents the unique vibe of the modern Greek capital. A crossroads between East and West, and a melting pot of influences, steeped in history, the city is the perfect backdrop for a line up combining electronica powerhouses and experimental acts from around the world."
Sónar is a Barcelona-based festival that has hosted events in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Stockholm, Reykjavik and Bogotá. Its next festival is Sónar Istanbul in March.
