- Ranging from beatless synth tracks to ambient pop, it's sung in a language she invented for the LP.
Next up from Local Action is an album from Lena Raine, out in late March.
Oneknowing is her first official album, though she's written a few video game soundtracks, most notably for 2018's breakthrough indie Celeste. In addition to vocals and software, Raine also plays Rhodes piano, zither and a number of hardware synths on the album, which ranges from "distorted paranoia to ambient pop, brought together by shimmering melodies," the label says. On the vocal tracks, Raine sings in a language of her own invention.
It follows an LP from US pop artist DAWN, New Breed, which came out on Local Action earlier this year.
