Max D is back with a new album, MANY ANY, out through Washington DC label 1432 R on March 14th.
The DC producer, real name Andrew Field-Pickering, has been somewhat quiet in recent years. We last heard from his Max D alias in 2016, with EPs for Unthank and his own label Future Times. As Dolo Percussion, the artist had a 12-inch out via Trilogy Tapes last year and has been producing for local acts.
The label describes MANY ANY as an album that "strips itself down," starting out fast and fierce, then moving towards rhythm tracks that are "something of a cameo from Max's Dolo Percussion moniker."
