  • Krankbrother are starting a new festival in London. Scheduled for Saturday, July 27th, the one-day event will go down at Beckenham Place Park, a recently converted golf course in South London. The music policy will centre on disco, dub, jazz, soul, house and funk, performed by a mix of live acts and DJs. 21 names have been confirmed, including Afriqoui, Alexander Nut, DJ Python, Henry Wu, Fatima, Ata Kak, Black Jazz Consortium (AKA Fred P), DJ Spinna, Donna Leake, Amp Fiddler, LTJ Bukem, Mafalda, Ndagga Rhythm Force, Neneh Cherry, Yazmin Lacey and Madison McFerrin. Krankbrother's other London festival, Re-Textured, will focus on darker sounds. It kicks off on March 28th, with numerous shows spread across various venues in the city. Resident Advisor is hosting two events.
