Bandcloud, Aidan Hanratty's weekly mailer of noteworthy Bandcamp and SoundCloud releases, is releasing a compilation on April 29th.
Missives is comprised of 15 tracks from international artists-turned-internet friends who have been featured on Bandcloud in the past. Doc Sleep, CCL, Violet, Debby Friday, Lee Kelly and Cruel Diagonals have contributed to the project. Proceeds from Missives will also go to two Irish charities: Merchants Quay Ireland, a national homeless and drugs charity, and The Ana Liffey Drug Project, which aids drug users and advocates for policy change.
Starting with the ambient-leaning mailer in 2014, Hanratty's Dublin-based project has grown to include a mix series, podcast and radio show.
